WEEK 1 03-03-2014

1)      Today, we meet for the first time at library after taking our lunch. 2)      The group members were Nor Amirah Binti Awang Noh, Nurul Amirah Binti Azhar, Thuraiya Binti Kodir, Nur Aishah Binti Wahab And Chai Ming Siung.   3)      We have ice breaking session to discuss and decide to choose Nor Amirah Binti Awang Noh as our group leader and Chai Ming Siung as the deputy. 4)      We have also decided to have our next meeting at every Sunday morning at food court KK2 as usual planning and further change will be informed early. 5)      Lastly, we have decided to choose the book: Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green and Memoirs Of A Geisha by Arthur Golden for our reading.

WEEK 2 10-03-2014

1)      We have our meeting as usual at food court KK2 on Sunday morning and our group leader lead us for the discussion. 2)      We have decided the first book to read is the Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. 3)      We also have been discussing where to find and buy the book and how we going to read this book by sharing among five people of us. 4)      Lastly, we read though the guide question on during and after reading the book. 5)      We search the book at book store available in Bintulu city but fail to get the book. 6)      So, we decide to search internet for the book and try to download the soft copy of the book. 7)      We all finally get the copy and start enjoying read the book.

1)      Today, we have changed our meeting as usual at food court KK2 on Sunday night since morning everyone is busy. 2)       We going to record short video on our discussion and answering the guide question during and after reading session. 3)      We been discuss what the book story line about and the try to do simple summarize for the book. 4)      The book simply describe a frustrated and sad women after divorce with her husband and break off with many  fail relationship with her boy friend go travelling at Italy, India and Bali Indonesia for search new thing, adventure, experience  and start new chapter of her life by finding the true about herself. 5)      We all like this book and enjoying reading this book.

1)      We have changed our meeting as usual at food court KK2 on Sunday night. 2)      We going to record short video on our discussion and answering the guide question during and after reading session. 3)      We been discuss what the book story line about and the try to do simple summarize for the book. 4)      The main characters are Hazel and Augustus where both of them having cancer illness. 5)      They meet at the cancer treatment centre and fall in love at first sight. 6)      They start from exchange book and become friend, and then become best friends since they understand each other more and finally become lover as they know time is shot for both of them. 7)      However, the ending was cruel and sad where Augustus died left Hazel alone and she manage to keep her life go on even go though the hardest and painful day. 8)      We like this book so much as we been motivated to live for another day by appreciate family and friends around us,

1)      We have our meeting as usual at food court KK2 on Sunday morning and our group leader lead us for the discussion. 2)      We have finished the second book, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and we all really enjoying this book so much. 3)      We like this book so much because the main character in this book was a pair of teenagers, Hazel and Augustus who suffering from cancer illness start from friend to be best friend, and finally become a lover but the end story was sad where Augustus diet. 4)       We have decided to read the third book, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden.

1)      We have our meeting as usual at food court KK2 on Sunday morning and our group leader lead us for the discussion. 2)       We have the discussion on answering the guide question on during the reading session base on the book, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. 3)      The story begins with a rural poor family selling two daughters to get some money to survive. 4)      The main character Chiyo and her sister were sell to the okiya but her sister manage to escape and left only Chiyo alone at the city. 5)      Chiyo grow up at okiya and becoming the geisha apprentice train hard by mameha and finally change her name to Sayuri, becoming the best geisha at japan.

1)      We have our meeting as usual at food court KK2 on Sunday morning and our group leader lead us for the discussion 2)      We have finished read all the three book and we been discuss and compare these 3 book. 3)      At conclusion, we all agree the favourite book is the Fault in Our Star by John Green. 4)      This is because most of us motivated by the main character Hazel on keep her life go on even she been suffer so much pain and losing her love one. 5)      We believe that we should never give up in our live easily and be strong to face every challenge on a new day of life because it is the gift from GOD.

1)      We have our last meeting as usual at food court KK2 on Sunday night. 2)      We would like to thank to our lecturer Madam Joyce for guiding us and helping us to complete our Lax2018 activities. 3)      We also say thank to each members among our group for giving strong support and cooperation though these weeks. 4)      We have learnt so much thing, new word and phrases, experience, and lessons from reading the book that very useful for our future.
